True Blood, the wonderful new HBO series, is based on the Southern Vampire Mystery books by Charlaine Harris. The first book in the series, “Dead Until Dark”, is the book the show is focusing on.

I’ve haven’t yet read the book “Dead Until Dark”; but I have been watching “True Blood”, and I have to say that it’s one of the best HBO series I’ve ever watched.
I’m hoping to read the book and compare it to the series. I think it will add to my enjoyment of the show.

I am absolutley in love with True Blood series. As are many people these days I am recently laid off and cannot buy books or any other “luxery” items. I want to read all the True Blood series books as I am a huge fan of the “paranormal” and an amature writer myself.
