True Blood In Memoriam – A True Blood Tribute

Tonight’s True Blood episode started off with a look back at all of the characters that have died (i.e., met “The True Death”) since the True Blood series began. It was great seeing some of the old characters.

I’ve listed them below for your enjoyment!

2	Gus: one of Russell’s werewolves; killed by baby vamp Jessica in the woods
3	Malcolm and Diane: naughty vamps killed by townspeople in a trailer fire
4	Liam: killed with Malcolm and Diane in the trailer fire
5	The Rattrays: drainers, killed by Bill
6	Luke McDonald: Fellowship of the Sun fanatic that blew himself up (and other vamps)
7	Eddie Gauthier: nice vampire killed by Amy Burley
8	Dawn Green: waitress at Merlotte’s killed by Rene Lenier
9	Talbot: Russell’s lover (and briefly, Eric’s) killed by Eric
10	Daphne Landry: a shifter and Maryann follower, killed by Eggs
11	Tina “The Cat”: hung from Sookie’s ceiling fan. Poor kitty.
12	Gabe The Drill Instructor: Fellowship of the Sun member killed by Godric
13	Longshadow: vampire bartender at Fangtasia, staked by Bill to save Sookie’s life
14	“Eggs” Benedict Talley: Tara’s one love, tragically shot in the head by Jason.
15	Cooter: the werewolf leader of the Fuck You crew that kidnaps Bill and Debbie Pelt’s fiance. Shot in the head by Alcide.
16	Miss Jeanette: a voodoo practitioner killed by Maryann
17	Maryann Forrester: a maenad and the biggest villain on the show to date; killed by Sam who had shifted into an image of the god Dionysus
18	Amy Burley: Jason’s girlfriend, killed by Rene Lenier; Jason thought he (Jason) had killed her while high on V.
19	Hank The Trucker: mistakenly killed by baby vamp Jessica during a bloodlust
20	Franklin Mott: crazy vampire killed by Jason
21	Supersize The Guard: human, killed by Bill
22	Royce The “AIDS Burger” Redneck: killed by Eric in his dungeon. Eric had foils in his hair; I thought he was a natural blonde.
23	Rene Lenier: Arlene’s serial killing fiance. Decapitated by Sookie with a shovel.
24	Sydney: killed by Lorena in a flashback to the 1920′s	Not Present During Photo Day
25	The Flapper: killed by Lorena and ravaged by she and Bill in a 1920′s flashback
26	Lorena Krasiki: Bill’s psychotic maker, she’s staked by Sookie with Bill’s help
27	The Vikings: killed by their enemies

Snoop Dogg’s “Oh Sookie” video: died a fast death the moment it previewed after a True Blood episode. Let’s hope it stays that way.
