Sookie Stackhouse Book Designs From the UK
I love book covers, especially fantasy book covers. I recently came across the following UK book covers for the extremely popular Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris. I found two different book designs: one with cool psychedelic colors and another with great black and grey designs with some red thrown in for contrast.

I love the ones from the first set – they’re definitely better than the US covers. The second set is nice too, they mirror the True Blood marketing scheme.

I likew the second one better. I usally judge books by the cover and the secons set really got my attention.

I like the 1st one’s they are a little different then the show…I love the show but it’s nice to have the books a little different

I agree, totally. I’m all for the American covers.
i like the original covers better they stick out more, the U.K. ones look like half the fantasy covers that are already out there, and they dont look very high quality
I think the UK covers make the series seem more like teen fiction rather than urban fantasy/mystery; I’m all for the US covers, very original
i hate the American covers they look like little kid books and very tackie ones at that. I like simple and love when they have models on the outside so i like the tint and shade styles ones the most, but i still like the very colorful ones to but not as much:D
i love the uk covers. I agree they r simply and I like that. I’ve all the books with this cover. Does anyone know if the newest book dead in the family will b brought out with this cover????

Totally agree with Tracey, American covers look like somthing staright out a nursery.
in my opinion SVM are quite adult books which i think the second bunch of covers, which i actually adore, show best.
but each there own and all that.
