How Do You Kill A Maenad?
So, it looks like Sookie, Bill, Eric, Jason and Andy Bellefleur may all play a part getting rid of the black evil that is known as Maryann Forrester.
So how do you kill a maenad? How do you kill something that’s immortal?
Perhaps Sophie Anne, the Queen of Louisiana, gave us some clues in the last episode. Here’s what she said when Bill asked her about maenads. Note: these are the actual transcripts. I watched these scenes several times in order to transcribe them. You can thank me later:
Bill: “So how do I kill it?”
Queen: “You can’t. She’s convinced herself she’s immortal and so she is.”
Bill looks puzzled.
Queen: “Well I’m sure you know that everything that exists imagined itself into existence.”
Queen Sophie Anne goes on to say:
Queen: “So, you’re f*-ing everything in the dirt – why not kill something and eat it raw? Hey you’re super extra pious, there’s nothing you can’t do. And each time you do it brings you one step closer to the divine.”
Bill: “Isn’t that delusional?”
Queen: “Never underestimate the power of blind faith. It can manifest itself in ways that bend the laws of physics, or break them entirely.”
Bill: “I bit her, and it poisoned me.”
Queen: “Of course it did. We can only drink the blood of humans and she’s no longer remotely human.”
Bill: “But she started out human?”
Queen: “Helloo, evolution? We started out that way too.”
And in the next scene:
Queen: “Maenads are sad silly things. The world changed centuries ago and they’re still waiting for the god who comes.”
Bill: “Does he ever come?”
Queen: “Of course not. Gods never actually show up. They only exist in human’s minds, like money and morality.”
Bill: “If I can’t kill her how do I get her to leave Bon Temps?”
Queen: “She has to believe that she’s successfully summoned forth Dionysus. In hopes that he will ravage her – quite literally devour her. Until she’s lost into oblivion.”
Bill: “So she seeks death, the true death. The one thing she’s evolved beyond.”
Queen: “Ironic isn’t it? You know they’re really not that smart, these maenads.”
Bill: “So how does she summon this non-existent god of hers?”
Queen: “I never said he was non-existent. I just said he never comes. She believes if she finds the perfect vessel, sacrifices and devours part of him, or her, while surrounded by the magic of her familiars, then her mad god will appear. And at that point when she willingly surrenders herself to him – “
Bill: “That’s the only point she can be killed!”
Queen: Smirks. “Who’s the smartest boy in class?”
Bill: “The perfect vessel, um, human?”
Queen: “They prefer supernatural beings.”
Bill: In awe. “The two-natured!”
Queen: Shifter, yes. And weres. Fortunately they show little interest in us. Something about our hearts not beating. But will try other being that straddles the two worlds.”
Bill: “As long as it has a beating heart.”
Queen: “You have to remember they’ve been trying for centuries. They’re constantly improvising the recipes in hopes of finding that one magic element that will make it all happen. Idiots.”
So, let’s recap:
1. Maryann started out as human but really embraced the mantra “I think, therefore I am.”
2. Maenads tend to talk about a god that’s coming and seem to always be preparing for that day, but the god never comes.
3. The god actually exists.
4. Maryann is actually seeking death, true death, which will occur after she devours part of her “vessel” and surrenders herself to her god.
5. Maryann is at her weakest at this point.
In my mind, here are the key clues from Sophie Anne:
1. “She believes if she finds the perfect vessel, sacrifices and devours part of him, or her“.
2. “They prefer supernatural beings.”
3. “They’re constantly improvising the recipes in hopes of finding that one magic element that will make it all happen.”
My Theory?
Maryann will choose Sookie as the vessel instead of Sam. Yes, you heard right. Look at the 3 clues above. I think there’s a reason why Sophie Anne mentioned “her” in Clue #1. I also believe that Clue #3 tells us that Maryann, who’s curious about Sookie’s supernatural nature, will select Sookie because she thinks Sookie’s unique nature will allow her to summon her god.
The result? Eric and Bill will combine forces to kill Maryann. We saw what happened when Sookie touched her. It forced Maryann back. We also saw that Sookie and Bill together were able to remove the evil darkness from Tara’s body. So what if Sookie, Bill, Eric, (maybe even Barry the Bellboy) and other vampires (including Queen Sophie) join forces against Maryann? Remember, Bill asked Sookie if she could repeat what she did for Tara. I think that might be the key to getting rid of Maryann.
But remember, Maryann’s only at her weakest when she surrenders herself to Dionysus, which she wouldn’t do unless he’s actually present.
Hmmn, so, what do you think?
-How would you go about killing Maryann?
-Do you think Dionysus will make an appearance? If so, who is he?
-And lastly, what do you think will be the season’s cliffhanger?
Hit me up in the comments.

AAHH! BFS, we are thinking alike! I swear I didn’t read your theory until just now, and about an hour ago, I posted a similar theory in the True Blood Rehab forum! Great minds do think alike! My theory about the cliffhanger is……Sookie and Eric, he’ll save the day and they will kiss….for real….and that’s where they will leave it hanging.
Wow! Great things do think alike! I just found this page and was glad tosee other like minds on the killing of MaryAnn!
I agree that Sookie will play a BIG part, maybe even the sacrafice. Remembe the book that Bill was reading in his flashback there was a cheetah or some sort of large cat. Maybe Sam is going to shift into a cheetah, panther, lion etc. and devour MaryAnn! I am still trying to figure out the egg! Remember Jason made reference to”I wonder if Sam can turn into a chicken and lay his own egg?” And then of course the name Eggs!
Thank goodness we have a little more time to figure this all out before the finale!
oops….I meant…..Great minds! so sorry
I think it important to mention that Dionysus’ enemy animal was the panther, and in Charlaine Harris’ books – Jason is bitten by a werepanther and thus becomes a hybrid human-panther.
Yeah, thanks for spoiling the Jason thing. That’s why were debating this cause we don’t have a clue about what will happen or what will become of anyone. If I wanted to know what’s likely to happen or who’s what, I’d look it up online or read the damn books.
You have to realize that many of the people who watch True Blood and who are using these forums are also fans of the books. There are 9 Sookie Stackhouse books, so choosing to be ignorant of the story is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Though spoilers are unfortunate, you are choosing to be ignorant. You can rest assured that Alan Ball is taking a lot of departures from the book series, so spoilers from the books may not relate to the show at all.
i would just like to point out that the panther is not dionysus’ enemy, he actually preferred them and is often depicted with his chariot dragged by them.
Yeah I forgot to mention about the egg. But it’s true, Jason did state, “I wonder if Sam can turn into a chicken and lay an egg?” I was cracking up when he said this. What if that egg is Sam’s and could be the new sacrifice? Idk, but it’s True Blood, always suprising and shocking, we could all be wrong! Lol.
You can’t kill a Maenad. Maybe in Ball’s world but if it’s like the book…
Well, one also has to ask if the maenad can’t be killed, WILL she be killed or, since we know blood will be spilled, will Sookie become so enraged that her magic hand will gather superpowers and use it to run Maryann off to make creepy zombie orgies somewhere else?
There was an interview where Sam Trammell said that his character (Sam Merlotte) will turn into something really small and really big.
He already turned into fly (small) but we haven’t seen him turn into something really big.
Maybe he’ll pretend to be Dionysus so Maryann can be vulnerable, then Bill and Eric will attack? Maybe Jason pretending to be the god was a foreshadowing?
jb Tru one thing he can’t do is turn into something he hasn’t imprinted on.
Yes, but all he has to do is see a picture of an animal and he can change into it. Maybe he’ll turn into an evil horned bull and Maryann will think he’s the god.
I like the horned bull idea, since the mask IS sitting in the house.
I really like this idea! I think you might be on to something here.
Sam turns into a white bull. Maryanne thinks he’s Dionysis, he takes a horn and stabs her in the chest, he then shifts back to human and his arm ends up in her chest. He takes her heart out, and she says, Was there no god? Sam then squishes the heart and Maryanne dies. Bill played a part in that he healed Sam after Eggs stabbed him. Sookie used her mind reading to read Sams mind and knocks over the huge meat statue.

It showed Bill dragging Sam to MaryAnn…and then you hear about Sookie needing Eric’s help to stop Bill Compton.
My guess is they have something planned? Bill and Sam that is. Hopefully anyway, unless this is the beginning of where Bill starts making himself look terrible and Sookie eventually winds up with Eric…which kind of seems weird but I guess not to the people who were in to the book so much.
I still don’t know why Eric had Lafayette selling the V blood after he let him go…that must have some relevance for SOMETHING…no?
The Queen said that Maenads are “really not all that smart” but compared to the town she’s in…especially when they have the bug eyes…she definitely seems like one of the smarter ones there. Perhaps saying she’s not all that smart…plays into a trick they play on her?
I still don’t know why some of the people she can control and others Jason, the drunk cop, etc. she seemingly can’t…
In reply to you’re “I still don’t know why some of the people she can control and others Jason, the drunk cop, etc. she seemingly can’t…” bit…
I also have been wondering the same thing. I never understood why the whole entire town was possessed by Maryann’s ‘evil black eyes’ but Sam, Andy Belflour, Sookie, Lafayette (until last week’s episode), Jason and Lettie Mae were not affected.
My theory is, well #1 that Eric & Bill can’t be because they’re vampires, and Sookie and Sam can’t because they’re two that straddle both worlds, Jason can’t because he’s strong (meaning emotionally) and Andy can’t because he’s always drunk. I think that in order for Maryann to possess people they have to be weak and vulnerable to give in to it. I don’t know if that makes sense but that’s my thought.
The drunk theory doesn’t hold for Andy b/c maenads LOVE drunken debauchery and Maryann had lots of drinking parties where the guests later became black-eyed minions to her will.
Point well put, Niki.
Jason was out at Fellowship for the whole time Maryanne was in town.
Daphne told Sam that Maryanne can’t control supernaturals the same way (shifters), and that’s why Sam’s immune.
Also, the control happened slowly, party after party, people becoming more and more mad. Andy was at few parties, more interested in cracking the case.
Yeah I have asked myself that same question. Why haven’t these characters been turned, you know, black-eyed. I’ve really just always thought the reason was that they haven’t been in the presence of Maryann. Like in her house, or face-to-face, for her to exert her power over them. And Sookie, well, she’s a mind reader/telepathic. Bill and Eric are vampires. Sam a shape shifter. Andy, I’m thinking Andy must be something too…he HAS been in the presence of Maryann. Remember that time he saw the pig in the little house? Maryann at that time would have done her thing and bugg-eyed him. And he would join the others in their crazyness. Jason, well I have no idea. But again, they just haven’t been in her presence, enough time for Maryann to control them.
If there’s something special about Sookie, wouldn’t it follow that there might be something special about Jason?
Amelia, according to the book Jason is supposed to be a were-leopard [at least, I think].
Jenny, At first I thought Andy couldn’t be put in a trance because of his drinking but then realized that everyone was drinking and entranced, so maybe Andy is something supernatural, who knows.
I thought the pigs [i.e. Daphanies] house was cute complete with curtians and all.
Jason was gone for most of Maryanne’s stint in Bon Temps, he came home with Sookie and Bill. Andy actually tried to stay sway from Maryanne after he saw the ‘bull creature in a dress’. His arm had also been broken, so he stayed away from her parties. That’s why she didn’t get to him right away. However. Jason and Andy go to ambush the party, but they both get punched and it turns them black eyed. Jason has nothing special about him til later on when he turns into a werepanther.
Dalton,
My guess is that Erik wants Layfayette to sell “V” as a form of ‘control’ over humans. Drugs have been used as a form of mental manipulation for centuries and “V” is a powerful drug to humans.
Erik, is after all, a ‘true’ vampire. Controlling, cruel, vengiful, vandictive, etc…..
To quote Bill Compton: “humans are susceptible to just about any form of thought manipulation”
I imagine he wants to draw out other users/sellers of V through layfayette- or get more revenue.
sam is the vessel, we see in the previews how bill forces him to mary anne, and how sookie is crying. the combination of bill cruelty of sacrificing sam and eric saying that bill tricked her into drinking his blood the first day they met will lead to sookie leaving bill for eric, along with all the greek parallels to that, sookie psych and iris, eric Morpheus, bill cupid
exactly what i was thinking!
Vbooker hit on a good point – all the references to “eggs”.
Who exactly IS Eggs? Can’t believe he’s just another “pet” like Tara.
Is Eggs Dionysus and is just pretending this whole time and will the last one laughing at the end of the day?
All so very interesting! And we have to wait another week to find out!
Also, it sounds like they need more than 45-55 minutes to finish this out … is the season finale longer than the norm??
Pretty much sums up what I was thinking during this episode and even had suspensions of a Maryann/Sookie stand off after she reacts to Sookies powers, but Sookie is half fae so it makes sense she would choose Sookie over Sam, given she’s already tried shifters before with no success.
Your theory is interesting. But I heard Maryann forces Sookie to be the Maid of Honor at this sacrifice thingy. (No, I haven’t read the books). That’s why in the previews she’s wearing a white dress. I think Bill and Sam are going to come up w/ a plan to fool Maryann into thinking he has been sacrificed and that the God came and she can finally die. In the previews, Sam says he won’t give himself up to her, Bill says he must. Again, maybe they can come up w/ something? I really hope Sam isn’t sacrificed! I hope they just all team together and defeat her. Bill, Sam, Eric, Jason, Andy, everybody. It’d be so cool. I would most def. like to see Bill and Eric work together, so I hope Eric finishes his business with the Queen FAST! Oh yeah and I hope the season finale consists of some 2 minutes where Tara gets shot and dies. That’s one character I think the show can do without.
Books wouldn’t help you on this one anyway. All of this is pulled out of AB’s warped mind.
That’s one of the reasons the show is so great! You can read the books and still not know what’s going to happen!
They shouldn’t have to “kill” her, they could lock her in a big metal box wrapped in chains and bury her- or drop her in the ocean or something. I’m sure the vampires could beat her on strength and that’s all it takes.
Maenads have much higher strenght than a vampire…. you ignorant. Besides are invulnerable.
Besides, on the books the supernatural beings are NOT immune…
they can’t kill of Tara she is the only human(main character) in Sookie’s inner circle that represents the true fragile nature of humans.
thats achualy pretty good but after going through all this trouble for sam im pretty sure that sookie is going to be the madid of honor im getting the book today but im afraid to read it i really hope that bill can suck it up and help bill with his problem and i hope eric dosent eat the small humans
i think that maryann over comes sookie for a split secound and she stabs sam but NUTHIN that is 2 serious i think bill or eric is gonna pose as the god who comes and lay maryann 2 rest
Possible Spoiler ((just one reference to the books))
I think that Sookie will become the “sacrifice” but get away and Eggs will be killed by some mistake and then as far as the god who comes….I think that…once again…no one will come and Maryann will either be scared away or just leave like she does in the book…and honestly I have NO idea what to think about the egg….that one just kind of came out of nowhere.
Bill wasn’t asking if Sookie could repeat what she did with Tara, he was asking if she could repeat what she did to Maryann. She said she didn’t know what she did, they were talking about her “power” not Tara.
I think that Hoyt’s mom is a better person to look at for clues..that whole conversation she had with Hoyt about Maryann while she was making the cassarole for the God who comes was interesting if you listen to it again.
I think your right about that…Maxine knows alot more than we think and all the other crazies are just babbling about the god who comes….but seriously what is the deal with the egg? I can’t understand it!
Ive read all the books, but no spoilers here, and it’s obvious Alan ball takes elements of the books and creates his own world (which I love!) so anything can pretty much happen.
I’m not sure why Andy hasn’t been turned by Maryann but Jason probably hasn’t bc he is blood related to sookie. True he can’t read minds but maybe they’re more alike than we think.
Maryann stated that Tara summoned her but can Tara get rid of her too?
I think what’s gonna bite bill in the ass this finale (no pun intended) is that he’s so worries about Erics pull over sookie he’s not thinking. He goes straight to Sam as a sacrifice (perhaps?) instead of thinking how sookie is a supernatural in her own right. Meanwhile as of now Eric is helping bc of what Sam came to him about, not sookie. Maybe he’ll come save Sam? But I digress.
Allthe clues seem to point to Maryann leaving, not necessarily dying. The queen didn’t seem interested to help do it looks like we have bill, Jason, sookie, Sam, Andy and Eric.
But like Maxine said it’s all downhill after you get married maybe Maryann should gothrough with her ceremony.
Sorry for the rambling!
Well, I have more ideas….the song that was playing while Sheriff Dearborn and Andy were dancing, listen carefully. When the Devil comes court’n…then something about 8. I think we maybe losing 8 chatacters this episode. MaryAnn, Eggs, Tara, Mike Spencer, Tara’s Mom, Terry, ? ?. And about the egg. What if when Daphne and Sam had sex Sam fertilized an egg and Daphne shifted into “something” that laid the egg. It would be conceived of 2 supes (shifters). OK, I know I’m stretching it a bit but hey…..so is Alan Ball! LOL
Oh…and Jane Bodehouse.
the women of amphissa
Brianne, Maryann cannot control the two natured..she cannot control Sookie, Bill, Sam or Andy. Sookie is two natured as is Jason. It would seem then that Andy (unlike in the books) would have to be two natured also.
I liked Vbooker’s idea of Daphne laying the egg..and it’s cute because we saw Sam with Arlene’s kids. Showing him being all cute and protective of the teacup humans may have been another clue.
Jason was out of town for most of the season- he was not under her control.
Andy was under control at some parts, but he never went bug eyed because he was hiding out in a hotel rather than going to the parties.
When Tara went back Maryanne tried to force her to go bug eyed and Tara said “that won’t work on me anymore” until maryanne had to try a more forceful approach. Perhaps you need to have a mindset that leads you to be possessed- one that andy doesn’t have right now.
Besides- Andy’s cousin was bug eyed so it can’t be a blood thing.
I believe Sookie will definitely be the ‘vessel’ but she will used her telepathic powers to deliver a fake hallucination that Maryanne’s devouring imaginary Sookie’s heart while Bill and Eric will help her by using glamor on Maryanne, then Sam will turn into a representation of Dionysus. At that point, Sam will devour Maryanne when she submit herself.
I like the idea of Sam turning into “the God who comes” but in what form I have no idea. My thoughts were a big cat of some kind. In the book Bill was reading there was a cheetah or leopard type animal in the picture. I am hoping for a LION! haha….Tara’s Mother referenced a lion in her prayer at Lafayette’s house.
i think a bull
Oh wow, the theory of Sam having Daphne’s children is kinda dissapointing because she conned him and revealed that all that she did with Sam was a lie to make him more vulnerable to Maryann.
*SPOILER*
WELL, THIS IS MY GUESS WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT SEASON FINALE
It says in the synopsis for the finale
’“Sam places his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.”
I’m guessing that Bill & Sam have some sort of plan to give up Sam to Maryanne (but making it look like Bill has forced him, so Maryanne doesn’t get suspicious ) because the only way she can be defeated is when she thinks she has accomplished whatever the hell she is trying to with Sam.
I also think that Bill & Sam wont have anytime to let any one else in on their plan. So Sookie and the rest of the gang will probably be thinking Bill made Sam surrender to Maryanne. Possibly what Sookie is apologizing for.
I’m gonna guess that Sam probably gets hurt… but I’m almost positive they wont kill off his character.
In an interview Sam Trammel says that “Sam” turns into one tiny animal and one very large animal this season. Now we’ve seen him turn into a fly.. but not something very large. So I’m guessing this will play a part in the finale.
I also read an interview that said “Maryann will be vanquished, but no one character will single-handedly takes her out, but rather it will be a group effort by all of the good guys.”
Now I wonder why the queen is having Eric take care of Bill… i’m puzzled.. What are your thoughts?
On Sam: The unlikely ally can be either Bill or Erik, as Sam went to Erik at Fangtasia to ask for help. The very large animal Sam will turn into might either be a large cat or the Bull.
The Queen: I’m puzzled too. Bill spoke with Sookies cousin Hadley and said that it was best she didn’t visit and Hadley said, I know my like there is done [or something like that]. What was that all about?
I got the impression that Bill didn’t want the Queen or Hadley to have anything to do with Sookie.
I read about Greek mythology and found that the egg is a world-wide symbol of resurrection and creation. In Greek mythology, the egg was the birth of creation (though not the universe, which was in chaos): the earth, the moons, the planets, the stars, and all the living things on earth. This explains why Christianity reappropriated eggs from pagans and they have since become “Easter eggs.”
Also the Orphis hymns say that Dionysis was born from an egg. Marianne is trying to resurrect Dionysis by having him hatch from an egg. In other words, “the perfect formula” to ensure that the “god will come.” Ingenius on her part but ultimately doomed to failure because Dionysis, being a god, is not interested in appearing to an old groupie.
Everyone is forgetting Lafayette tarot card reading Tara’s future”she must make a sacrifice or choice?” Bill-up until now-doesn’t know Sam’s a shifter.Sookie is the portal-she is the supernatural who serves alcohol.Maryanne told Sam in the beginning”its not about him” when he tried to give her money back.
Eric knows everything-he referred to sam as “shifter”??How does he know?the kids would’ve been asking Sam all kinds of questions if Sam admitted to Eric at Fangtasia he was one.WHAT was the guy playing with in Gran’s sink!Where’s the black girl cop(forgot her name)? She knew Maryanne too well. There is definatly a monster twist happening in the finale and all of you are on to something.
Bill, Eric and other supes know Sam is a shifter because of their sense of smell.
If I remember correctly Bill suggested to Sam that he tell Sookie what he is last season.
Cecile, you’ve predicted a lot to happen in one hour…maybe too much for one episode.
Yeah Jessica, You’re right about that–too long. The previews also look like too much for one hour. Looking at the previews again, I noticed Sam looked like he was ‘captured’. Did anyone else notice that?
On what you said about vampires–they can identify Were’s or shapeshifters. Also, in some vampire myths—werewolves were used to ‘guard’ the vampires ‘nest’ in the daytime.
Even though Sam is a Shapeshifter, Bill asked him to ‘watch over Sookie’ [in the 1st season] because he was the ‘only one that can’.
In the 2nd season, Erik stated that Sam’s kind stayed away from vampires. In myth, werewolves and vampires have been enemies and sometimes had great wars…like Underworld. I would guess from Eriks statement, the same dislike exist between Shapeshifters and Vamps as well.
I totally caught Layfayettes Tarot Card reading and think that the ‘sacrifices in matters of the heart’ will be Tara possibly killing Eggs?
Tara is the vessell- if she kills herself then Maryanne may be forced to depart.
“humans are susceptible to just about any form of thought manipulation”
Ditto That! That had the to be the most ‘accurate’ statement yet made in the series! Sad but true!
Here is my theory, and it jibes with yours somewhat:
http://midnight-charm.livejournal.com/2701.html
Trueblood predictions:
**Terri and Arlene will get together for real [without the spell] The drugs they took will cause their ‘trance’ to end.
***Eggs will be killed off [probably by MariAnn, but maybe by Tara herself] It was predicted in the Tara Card reading that was done by Lafayette.
****Erik and Bill will get into a huge fight…leaving everyone to think that Bill is dead [not just undead]
******Jessica and Hoyt’s relationship is left hanging.
On defeating MaryAnn:
*****Bill surrenders Sam to MaryAnn but Sam gets away and turns into a Leopard.
The Leopard attacks Jason turning Jason into a were-leopard.
At the same time: Sookie will put herself up for Sacrifice in place of Sam [hence, her apology in the previews] and at the last minute Sookie will use her power to ward-off MariAnn but MaryAnn attacks her first, mortially wounding her. Then MaryAnn retreats after Sookie used her power on her.
Eric wins the fight with Bill, finds Sookie and heals her. [I don't think he turns her, though]. But the healing strengthens their blood-bond and that bond overrides Bills.
MaryAnn, in the process of escape runs into Jason [who's looking to protect Sookie] and Jason [now in his leopard form] devours her.
There you go…The “perfect vessell” Sookie [per the queens explanation], The God that never comes [actually didn't--per the queens explanation-- but --MaryAnn seeing the were-leopard--imagines it is the 'God' she is waiting for. [she imagined it 'into existance'--again per the queens explanation]
This also goes with the story from the book Bill was reading about Maenards [at the beginning of the 20th century] In that book, a Leopard devours the Maenard [MaryAnn].
This is where it leaves off:
Jason is now a shapesifter. Sam is fine, Jason is a were-leopard. Eggs is dead, Bill presumed Dead and Eric is strongly bonded to Sookie. Hadley [Sookies cousin--visits]. The queen also visits.
And the egg: That egg is still there
….last minute of the show shows it starting to crack open!!!!
Quess: Is that a gargoyle!!!!!! looks like it could be the egg to a large bird [like a gargoyle] or maybe a dragon!
A lot going on in your explination. I doubt the ecstasy will come into play, since alcohol and weed doesn’t end the trance so why would X, which seems like it would help add to the trance.
I think sam turning into a panther is a good thought, but I doubt Jason will go were (at least in this season).
I think that the Queen may be behind Eric selling V for some reason. Also, hadly probably mentioned sookies ability to the queen. In the books the queen was the one who sent Bill after sookie in the first place anyway.
Also in the books sookie only ends up with eric because he lost his memory and changed his personality. The books are too different to be taken in as legitimate on the series.
Notation: Jason will actually be a ‘were’ because I don’t think that a ‘shapeshifter’ biteing someone can turn that person into another shapeshifter The reason: Shapeshifters are ‘born’ not ‘made’.
***Not sure if when Terri and Arlene will give the drugs to others to pull them out of the trance.
******Don’t think that Bill really wants Sam dead. I think that turning Sam over to MaryAnn is some kind of trick.
HEY ALL!
Too bad I don’t see you guys in the True Blood Rehab forum (link above).

Maenad on the books can’t die…. Silly Allan Ball ¬¬
i think that.. yes the maenaed will choose sookie … but i also think that sam would transform into a bull and pretend to kill to be the god.. then stab his horns into her and then yeah
HAPPILY EVA AFTER..
please read mine … i think it is the tru thing
plus the queen of vamps… you know how she said that she belives that she is immortal so she is… if sum1 truly belives tht … does it make that true????
The Queen told Bill that the only way to kill a manead was to trick “it”/”her” into thinking the GOD was there and at that point “it”/”she” is vulnerable and “could” be killed by removing her heart (the way she had killed all the others-cutting their hearts out)…Someway, Vampire Bill must get Sam to shift into something Godly (after Maryanne had killed Sam); but Bill could bring him back with his vampire blood (else the maenad would think this was Sam)So Sam would shift into a “Godly type creature” say like a cow in Hindu religion and then when the maenad was vulnerable…..whamo! KILL her and cut/pull out her heart when she thought the God was “ravaging her”!!! lol
I know far out………but it could happen!
Sam is the vessel, the Queen was just covering her bases by saying or her, it’s a syntax thing, don’t look too much into it. Dionysus is a greek God and no, he will not show up. You are not the best interpreter in the world.
