Fresh Blood is Spilt on True Blood Episode 11
Here’s what happens in Fresh Blood Is Spilt, True Blood Episode 11:
Eric Offers Russell A Walk In The Sun
Eric, in an attempt to trick Russell, offers to show him how he can become a day walker. Russell and Eric stand in the road awaiting Sookie’s arrival. Russell does a neat car flipping trick (see the image above) to the vehicle that Sookie and Bill are driving in.
After they get Sookie inside Fangtasia, Eric spills the beans on Sookie, telling Russell that drinking her blood provides a supernatural sunscreen for vampires. Bill verbally confirms the power of Sookie’s blood which makes her think he’s betraying her.
The Devil and Miss Lafayette
Lafayette, while talking to Jesus, glances away for a moment. When he looks back at Jesus, he sees Jesus as an evil creature. Needless to say it scared the lipstick right off Lafayette’s face.
Lafayette later awakens to find his voodoo dolls “alive” in his living room.
The Sam in Miss Tara
Sam is having anger management issues. He and Tara realize they have a lot in common. They also realize they’re both a bit horny. Nuff said.
Holly Is One Weird Chick
Okay, so Arlene goes to Holly for help in getting rid of her baby (remember, Rene, the serial killer, is the daddy). Holly creates a big candle-lit circle in the woods (at night of course) and makes up a concoction for Arlene to drink. I have to tell you, I had a Maryann flashback when I saw this scene.
At first it looks like it worked because Arlene woke up bleeding. But turns out that baby ain’t goin’ anywhere.
Andy Bellefleur and Tara Have a Moment
Tara confronts Andy about Eggs’ murder, calling him a bad cop. Andy opens up and apologizes to her, sharing his feelings about the incident. Turns out he’s been haunted by Eggs’ death. I think his emotional confession touches Tara.
Here Comes The Sun
Eric drinks Sookie’s blood and sure enough, is able to walk outside in the daylight without catching on fire and going up in a pile of ash. Eric motions for Russell to come outside before the “cure” wears off. Eric knows that the effects of Sookie’s blood only lasts a short time so he lures Russell into the sun, hoping to kill him.
Funniest Line From Tonight’s Episode
Hoyt’s mother when talking about Jessica to Hoyt’s ex-girlfriend: “She’s not even alive and you are cute as pigs.”
The episode ends with Eric, burning from the sun, handcuffing himself to Russell and stating “we’ll die together.”
NO! SAY IT AIN’T SO! ERIC CAN’T DIE!

Season 3 hasn’t been as great as Season’s 1 and 2. While an NFL football player claimed that everyone was “tricked” by the creator’s making Season 1 and Season 2 so well so that they could force the homosexuality onto us…I wouldn’t have put it this way…but it certainly may have had a bit too much of the homosexuality thrown in everybody’s face. I personally don’t care if people take part in that sort of thing…but when it’s in back to back scenes with different men…it kind of becomes unnecessary and may seem a bit “forced” I guess.
Also, what’s with Arlene’s pregnancy? Renee was killed at the end of Season 1…are they telling us that everything that happened in Season 2 and beginning of Season 3 all happened in like less than 5-6 months? They went to Dallas, fought the Fellowship of the Sun, came back and battled Mary Ann, Sam Merlotte went out venturing for his family, Andy Belflour was promoted, and everybody went back and forth to Mississippi in like 5-6 months? LOL I know it’s just a television show and the concept of time is always questionable…but I dunno. At first, I thought they were going to say it was somebody elses entirely due to the Maryann sex parties…which could make sense. But nope.
And, they’re trying to tarnish all these “good guys” on the show. Bill Compton was a good guy…then they had to show his past about murdering couples in sex acts with Marlena to tarnish his “good guy” image quite a bit. Now they’re doing the same thing with Sam Merlotte. All around good guy…probably the most normal nice guy on the show (besides Hoyt who’s somewhat stupid)…and they tarnish his “nice guy” routine with flashbacks of him murdering and stealing things from people and having a wild temper. Only to come back and yell and scream at everybody because he had this flashback. Next, they’re going to ruin Hoyt’s “best guy in the world” image by having him kill somebody or perhaps have a flashback of him raping children or something.
Still love the show…but adding several homosexual partners engaging in sexual activity in back to back scenes all while ruining what we loved about certain characters is kind of the opposite of what we were all loving in the first 2 seasons. Lafayette was still gay in Seasons 1 and 2 and everybody agreed that he was still bad ass. There was also a gay vampire who was understood and that people were fine with. And everybody was had their own badass side to them. Season 3 seems to be doing the exact opposite. They’re showing everybody’s vulnerable side…which I guess they have to do at some point…but all at once might be a recipe to lose at least some viewers.
This is a show,a very entertaining once at that but it sound as if you need to start out slower maybe Vampires Diary on regular Tv..There is no good guys in this show, there is vampires, werewolves, cats, dogs, lionstigers Oh my but no good guys I think that Eggs was close to being a guy because he was under Maryann’s spell and when he found out what he had been doing, well if you watch the show you know what he did.Sam and Maryann had a history and not a good one that how he got the Bar.Oh! Lafayette gay and one of the toughest men in the town.I must say the Bill and Sam scene was a OMG time for me,but vampires don’t care what your sex is if you read are watch any shows with vampires.but it seem your problem is with the homosexual activies that was going on to bad you more than likely missed the meaning.Relax and I’m sure they will not lose any viewers because of that and if they do oh well! They gave a lot of information for anyone that was wondering about the characters on the show..AND LAFAYETTE WILL ALWAYS BE GAY BUT A TOTALLY BAD-AZZ.RELAX IT DON’T RUB OFF AND YOU CAN’T CATCH IT.ENJOY THE SHOW.
the season 2 episodes seemed like everything happened in a lot of time but it didnt it was only like 1 month actually bcus they would show episodes that picked up from that night or that day so it was about a month and then arelene found out about the pregnancy
Crazy right? but don’t forget they petty much gave everyone a scene this time
and that nfl player is moronic. he knew that lafayette is gay and duh there’s bound to be a sex scene so i dont know how someone can “trick” you when theres a book (in which the tv is based off of), THE INTERNET, and then theres ppl who have read the book that he couldve asked if that was gonna be a problem. it’s assholes like whoever that is, that make me cringe. and no one is tarnishing anyone’s good guy image, everyone has a past.
You are right,I never read any of these books but I’m going to I like to read, there was a lot of sex scenes but anyone knowing anything about Vampires Know they don’t care what sex you are when the need arise and tell me what good guys are in this show Eggs he seem to be the only one surprised by what he did under Maryann’s control. This season showed Bill as weak Eric as kind if you can believe it..Why is a NFL player watching Tv anyway no pratice are partying.
