True_Blood_Season4_Episode12Boo hoo, it’s the last episode of the season and I’m already depressed that I don’t get to watch Eric looking at Sookie with adoration for the next year. But, they certainly did deliver an exciting end to season four of True Blood. Let’s do a recap…

Marnie took over Lafayette’s body and he’s having breakfast with Jesus outside on their patio. Jesus senses something is wrong but can’t pinpoint it until he bends over to give him a kiss and he realizes that it’s not just Lafayette inhabiting that body. And that’s when he stabs Jesus through the hand with a fork, pinning him to the table. Very Soprano-esque of Marnie.

Marnie is using Lafayette to force Jesus to give her his brujo magic. She said she’ll stab out Layfayette’s eye if Jesus doesn’t transfer his power. He gives in and as he starts to chant in Spanish, his demon face appears and she stabs him in the stomach, then licks the blood off the knife. Next thing you see, Layfayette has the demon face. Guess the transfer worked but poor Jesus, I really liked him a lot.

Alcide tells Sookie that it’s over for good with Debbie. He tells her that they should be together, it makes common sense – very romantic. She tries to stop him in his tracks but he asks her to listen to him, and to try harder to get the vampires out of her life. Alcide then gets a call to go check on a job site. He realizes that his site supervisor has been glamoured and the cement has been excavated. Now there’s a big hole where a certain vampire king used to be (remember the end of season 3?). Note to self – never leave a vampire alive – even if you do wrap him in silver and bury him under yards of cement. They always manage to get loose.

Tara goes to Lafayette’s house and the half open door forebodes that something bad has happened. When she goes in, she sees Jesus tied to a chair and obviously dead. She quickly drives to Merlotte’s and tells Holly and Sookie that Marnie is back. Now Sookie understands why she has not been able to contact Eric and Bill. Marnie has tied Eric and Bill to a stake with silver and she’s ready to burn them. I guess she wanted a good old burning at the stake to atone for what the vampires did to Antonia hundreds of years ago.

As they distract Marnie, Holly spreads salt in a circle around the pyre and the three women join hands to call forth all the dead ancestors to help them. Antonia shows up and even Sookie’s grandmother makes an appearance. Antonia blows the fire out under Bill and Eric and Sookie’s grandmother forcefully pulls Marnie out of Lafayette. She’s really scared to go onto the next plane but she finally agrees and all the spirits disappear. Looks like she got away with killing Jesus with no consequences, even in the afterlife.

Lafayette is devastated that he killed Jesus even though it was Marnie holding the knife. Next he sees Jesus in the corner and he comes out to tell Lafayette that it’s okay he was killed, he probably would have gotten cancer anyway. Jesus tells him to just keep breathing, that he’s a medium, he can see Jesus whenever he wants.

Sookie looks like she having an orgasm as both Eric and Bill are drinking from her wrists to recover from their burns. She tells them to stop and that she needs to talk with both of them. Her speech consists of telling them how she’s forgiven them the wrongs they have done to her in the past, but that no matter what she does, someone she loves always gets hurt. Eric looks hopeful, then Bill looks hopeful, then Eric looks hopeful – each one thinking she is going to choose him. But nobody gets chosen when she says she is leaving both of them – she is walking away from it all. Don’t know if I could do that.

Nan and her storm troopers are greeted by Bill at his house. She wants them to join her in her mutiny against the American Vampire League as well as the Authority. When Nan mentions their “little fairy waitress”, Eric rips off the heads of the storm troopers as Bill stabs her in the heart and she’s now a pile of vampire mush.

Sookie returns home to be greeted by Debbie Pelt with a shotgun. Debbie’s about to shoot her when Tara races into the room and pushes Sookie out of the way, getting shot in the head for her efforts. Sookie attacks Debbie, gets the gun and shoves it under Debbie’s chin. As Debbie begs for her life, Sookie pulls the trigger. No more Debbie. She then picks up Tara and starts screaming for help over and over. Season 4 of True Blood ends with the loss of a couple of major characters – Tara and Jesus. I’ll miss them both. But, it’s been a great ride.

True_Blood_Season 4_Episode 11Last week we left the vamp squad walking up to the witch’s haven with various and sundry weapons of mass destruction. They did not know Sookie was inside but Jason quickly runs up to let them know she is there. No one is happy to hear this and they all say some rather choice words about Sookie. Jason angrily reminds them how many times she has saved their lives. The vamp squad did not know there was a protective spell on the place that would not have allowed them to blow it up anyway.

Inside the haven, things are not going too well. Marnie has killed Casey when she tried to attack her. All of the witches in the coven now know that it is Marnie who is being so cruel, not Antonia. Jesus hatches a plan to get Antonia away from Marnie by using Casey’s body and pretending she is alive. He uses herbs and Marnie’s scarf to fight her with her own magic.

Andy is walking home after his intervention with Terry. He’s mad about being left out in the middle of the woods and he’s talking to himself when some bright lights appear in the sky. It looks some fairies are coming to visit and even though Andy tells the fairy who appears that she will be safe, she attacks him with her bright light.

Marcus is still trying to convince Debbie to leave with him. He has kidnapped Emma and wants to get out of the country. He is preying on Debbie’s weaknesses and it seems to be working. Luna, Alcide and Sam are trying to find out where Marcus is when they get a call from Emma and Alcide realizes that the call is originating form his own house.

Sookie convinces Marnie to talk to the vampires outside. Bill is taunting her with her lack of courage and finally Marnie gives in and takes Sookie with her. Bill tells her to let Sookie go and Marnie agrees if Bill and Eric kill themselves to save her. Sookie is speechless when Bill agrees. She begs them not do it. Bill tells Marnie if she reneges everyone will be slaughtered. Bill tells Eric he will shoot him and Pam is to shoot Bill. Eric nods and Bill starts to shoot when Pam loses it and runs to the van for the missile launcher. She shoots a missile into the haven and the spell stops it and it explodes onto the vampires.

Luna, Alcide, and Sam arrive at Alcide’s house to find Emma. Alcide goes upstairs as Luna takes Emma outside. They find Debbie on the bed in her nightie with Marcus in the room. Sam tells Marcus it is time to die as he puts down his gun to do it man to man. Debbie tries to stop them and Alcide throws her back on the bed.

Andy is not too sad to find the fairy, Mirella, on top of him when he wakes up. She tells him how handsome he is and she needs to trust him. She talks of the dangers in the woods and her need for his protection. She makes him swear to the light and then wants to make love.

Sam and Marcus are tearing up Alcide’s bedroom when Sam gets the upper hand. He decides to let Marcus live but Marcus grabs the gun and Alcide saves Sam’s life as he takes Marcus’. Debbie is angry at first but when she realizes that Alcide is now looking at her with hatred she quickly changes her tune. Alcide washes his hands of her forever and leaves her crying alone in the bedroom with the dead body.

Marnie is ready to get rid of the vampires once and for all when she forces everyone to get in a circle and she begins a new spell. All the vampires outside begin being forced to move into the protection spell around the haven which will kill them all. Jason cannot stop them but Sookie hears him and uses her fae magic to stop the circle. Marnie is so mad she places Sookie in the center of a fire circle and Bill and Eric can feel her fear. Jesus uses his magic with the help of his inner demon to break the bonds between Antonia and Marnie and Antonia is finally free to go.

Marnie loses the protection spell and Bill and Eric come in. Roy jumps in front of Marnie to save her and Eric pulls his heart out and evil Eric is certainly back because he stands there and sucks the blood from the heart through one of the valves like it’s a straw – everyone looks grossed out. Bill finally finishes off Marnie with a bullet to the head. The big finish happens when Lafayette lies in bed next to Jesus who has fallen asleep and Marnie’s ghost forces its way into his body. Guess we have not seen the last of her. Next week (and it’s the last episode) should be really interesting.

True_Blood_Season4_Episode10The latest episode of True Blood starts out with total pandemonium as Antonia commands the vampires to kill the king. Eric and Bill are fighting each other to the death and he’s about to kill Bill when Sookie throws a double fairy whammy on him and all his memories shoot back. Antonia realizes that she lost control of him and as she surveys all the dead people, she’s shocked at what she’s done.

Sookie and Eric stare at each other, trying to evaluate what’s going to happen now. They are sitting on the sofa talking and he tells her he remembers everything. When she looks kind of sick, he demands to know what the problem is. She tells him that when he was about to kill Bill, she could not imagine a world without Bill in it so she was able to send a huge jolt of magic into him which broke the spell. He finds this hard to believe but she states that she loves them both. “Lovable, isn’t he?” Eric snidely says as Bill makes plans to blow up the emporium and kill everyone inside. Looks like the true Eric is starting to show.

Alcide is racing Tommy to the hospital but he knows he’s dying. It’s really hard to watch, he keeps shifting back and forth, legs and arms at unnatural angles, it’s like a horror movie. He begs Alcide to take him home. Sam zooms in and holds Tommy’s hand. He tells him the story about people seeing a white light and feeling peace when they die. Tommy says there is no heaven and hell is a dog fight. He tells Sam he’s sorry for everything and then he dies. What a short horrible life. Sam promises that he will kill Marcus.

Jason is having a major guilt attack over having had sex with Jessica. Jason can only talk about Hoyt and Jessica doesn’t want to hear it. He blames it on drinking her blood and he wants her to glamour him into forgetting that their sexcapade happened. She leaves in disgust.

Terry and Arlene confront Andy about using V. Terry takes him to their old treehouse from when they were kids to get him clean. A lot of old family tensions come to the surface – arguing about who had it the worst when they were growing up. They start fighting and Andy hits rock bottom, he’s worried that the V ate his soul, but Terry tells him that a man without a soul could not cry. The two of them hug and it looks like Andy has made it. Terry needs to go into the intervention business. He could give A&E a run for their money.

Jason drives to Sookie’s house and she asks for his help to stop Bill from killing Tara and the witches. They go to Lafayette and Jesus to recruit them as well. Jesus is going to try and reach Marnie and get her to push Antonia out. Little does he know that Marnie is the one holding on to Antonia, she actually convinced the ghost to re-possess her after Antonia tried to leave.

Jesus approaches Marnie at the emporium but she has spelled a very painful shield around the building. She tells him that he’s got to get through the shield and it does not look like he is going to make it. But then he turns into some kind of demon which surprises her and they chat about his new powers. Jesus asks to speak directly to Marnie and Antonia allows it. He tells her she’s possessed and she says “you think this is against my will?” which has Jesus send a telepathic message to Sookie telling her that Marnie is in league with the ghost witch.

Tara and another witch try their hand at escaping and they get outside where Sookie and Lafayette rush to meet them. Antonia catches everybody and transports them to another place. Now Antonia has Sookie…

Marcus is at Debbie’s house looking for Alcide. Debbie talks about how Alcide ignores her and her need for children and the way it looks, she and Marcus are going to hook up. Maybe they can make babies. Meanwhile, Sam and Alcide show up at Marcus’ shop and they beat up one of the guys who killed Tommy.

Eric and the vampire crew are driving to the emporium to kill themselves some witches. It’s quite a hot looking group as the four of them walk up to the building carrying weapons, dressed in black and ready to kill. They look they are straight out of some summer blockbuster action flick – terminator flashback anyone?

True Blood Season 4 Ep 9: Run

Posted by: | Comments (0)

True_Blood_Season4_Episode_9Bill is at his house trying to give Sookie his healing vampire blood because she was shot on last week’s True Blood. Alcide is pissed off – why would Bill let her go to that fight? She recovers but since her first words are asking where Eric is, that’s it for Alcide, he leaves. She thanks Bill for the blood.

Tara wants to know why Antonia threw Bill’s olive branch back in his face. Tara challenges Antonia’s power when she finds out Antoinia plans to use Eric to ‘show’ the world the true face of the vampire. As the witches try to leave – they didn’t sign up for this – she locks them in with a spell. No tyrant wants to lose her subjects.

Luna tells Sam that she does not want Marcus to be a problem for him, he needs to leave. He talks her into going camping together instead of making him go back to his place. Marcus won’t be able to find any of them.

Debbie is sitting up in bed watching TV when she sniffs out Alcide. She keeps sniffing so I suspect she can smell Sookie on him. He walks naked over to his side of the bed and snuggles up to her but she pretends she’s asleep even though her eyes are glowing.

Nan, Bill and Jessica are all chained in the basement and Bill and Nan spend all their time bickering. These two can’t stand each other.

Lafayette shows up at Hoyt’s house with baby Mikey and he points a gun at Hoyt to get him to leave. Jason is at the Bellefleur house interviewing Arlene and Terry when Hoyt calls to tell them that Lafayette and the baby are there. Terry looks like he’s about to flip out.

Sookie wakes up to a knock on the door. You know it’s a dream because she’s wearing this red lingerie number with black pumps, and Eric is at the door during daytime. Bill appears to her right and both her men are in her dream. They are about to start fighting but she stops them, after all, it’s her dream. Her bottom line is, she either loves both of them or neither one. They don’t look to happy about sharing her but in the end, they give in. She wakes up with a thoughtful look on her face.

Marcus comes to Merlotte’s looking for Sam and he finds Tommy instead who gives him a lot of attitude. He tells Tommy to have Sam come meet him that night.

Andy is banging on the door of Hoyt’s house and he breaks it down. Lafayette shoots at him, and Andy and Jason race out. Terry tries to rush the house but Andy tackles him and pins him to the ground. Jason looks on in amazement as Andy completely subdues Terry and he realizes that Andy is high on V. Jesus shows up to save his man and he’s able to communicate with Mavis, the ghost. She tells them that she and her baby are buried ‘out yonder, under the tree’ as she hands the baby over to Arlene.

Alcide and Marcus are at his shop waiting for Sam to show up. When he does, he starts mouthing off to Marcus and the gang starts to kick and punch him. Lying on the floor, he turns back into Tommy and Marcus is shocked. Alcide pulls them all off of the boy and takes him out of there.

The gang finds Mavis’ baby’s bones in Hoyt’s backyard. Jesus gives her the baby’s bones to hold and he tells her that it’s time for her to go. You see her leave his body and she’s holding a beautiful little baby. She tells Lafayette thank you and he says ‘ you got it bitch’ in his own special way.

Debbie takes some V and then shows up at Antonia’s to pledge her allegiance to her cause. In the meantime, Sookie sneaks into the back of the shop and tries to get Eric to leave with her. Eric is non-responsive. Surprise, surprise, Debbie has delivered herself as a diversionary tactic for Sookie’s break-in. Then Sookie gets caught by Tara who tells her telepathically to charge her and she escapes. Debbie drives her to the hotel to warn Bill about Antonia’s attack.

Hoyt makes Jason deliver a box of things he packed up bto Jessica and they stare awkwardly at each other. He won’t go in but they end up having sex in the bed of his pickup truck.

Nan and Bill are sitting on the stage at the tolerance rally and they are still bickering with each other while others speak to the crowd. Eric acts as a decoy to lure the other vampire sheriffs to Antonia who puts them under her spell. She uses them to kill Bill’s guards as Sookie yells Bill’s name. Everybody in the halls starts to run as the bloodbath begins.

True_Blood_Season4_Episode_8We left the last True Blood episode wondering if we were going to lose one of the main characters as Jessica opens the front door and emerges into the daylight propelled by the spell. Jason saves her and they share “a tongues down the throat” kiss on the floor before he takes her back down and re-wraps her in chains.

Eric tells Sookie that he needs to feed in order to recover from the damage the silver did. She lets him feed but only after exacting a promise from him that he won’t lose control and go into a vampire frenzy. He stops feeding to have her take some of his blood. He says now they are one. They are both lost in their lover’s world. There’s a weird shower scene where it starts to snow on them and they emerge into some woods where a bed awaits them and the sexin’ begins. Is this some kind of hallucination because they shared blood?

Luna’s ex is Marcus, the pack leader of the Shreveport pack. He’s in leadership mode, telling his pack that they need to stay away from the vampires. He wants nothing to do with the witch/vampire war. A young pup challenges him when he says that the vampires are more powerful than the werewolves but Marcus shuts him down – he’s a strong leader.

Sam goes back to visit Luna after he kicked Tommy out of his life. She’s still angry about having had sex with Tommy while he was shifted into Sam. She wants to know who he killed in order to become a skin walker and he tells her that Tommy killed their parents but it was no great loss. And Sam gains the okay to come back into the household.

Hoyt and Jessica break up when she tells him that she wants to move out. She does not want to live with him anymore because she can’t control her vampire hunger. You can see his heart break as he starts to cry. He blocks the door and won’t let her leave. She ends up killing him and walking outside covered in his blood – a sight that turns on Jason, who’s waiting in his truck for her. They are about to have sex when a blood donor wakes her up from this disturbing dream.

Vampire goo is all that’s left of Buela Carter. Andy gets down on his hands and knees and starts licking his lips at all that V lying there is a big mushy pile. He wants the V bad, he’s a true addict. Andy looks pathetic.

Bill calls Antonia with an apology and a proposal – meet at the cemetery at midnight, in peace and unarmed – and avoid a lot of useless death on both sides.

Debbie and Alcide are enjoying the evening when Marcus stops by and says how glad he is that Alcide is there. They break up a fight and Debbie is so proud of her man. Marcus tells Alcide that he’s an honorable man, he’s got alpha in him.

Mikey is sitting in the playpen with the nasty baby doll and Arlene and Terry are arguing over the fact that he’s got the baby in the kitchen with him. The ghost comes in and is singing to him when Lafayette comes in. The ghost glares at him and he backs out.

Hoyt and Jessica really break up this time and his reaction is not like it was in the dream. He doesn’t fall apart and beg her to stay. Instead, he’s very angry and he totally turns on her. He takes back her invitation and throws her out of the house.

Eric and Sookie are lying in bed talking about running away. It still sounds so weird to hear Eric say ‘my king’ all the time. Sookie wants them to go see Bill and pledge their support. Eric just wants to be with her forever. He’s so needy.

Lafayette dreams about the ghost and we learn her story. She’s bringing a baby doll home when she sees a car parked in her driveway. A white man comes out of her house and he says her baby is gone. She accuses him of killing her baby and it looks like he kills her too. When Lafayette wakes up, the woman is standing in his house and she possesses him. And she uses his body to go to the Bellefleur’s and kidnap baby Mikey.

Sookie and Eric pledge their support to Bill in his fight against the witches. It’s a cute moment when Eric says ‘my liege’ and Sookie says ‘my…my…my…Bill’.

A jealous Marcus stops by and it’s on. This guy has a serious anger issue which is not helped when Luna threatens to call his parole officer. Sam tries to be the peacemaker but there is no pacifying Marcus.

The witches and the vampires meet in the cemetery and everybody lied – they all brought backup and when Sookie hears Antonia casting a spell in her mind, the fight is on. Eric is acting like a total animal, ripping people’s hearts out and tearing out their throats. When he and Antonia come face to face, she utters another spell which drops him to his knees. He is totally hers and she smiles a very satisfied smile.

True Blood ends with Sookie getting shot and both Bill and Eric sense her distress. As she collapses to the ground, Alcide shows up and picks her up to take her to safety while Debbie watches him. Now all her jealous suspicions are confirmed.

True Blood: Season 4, Ep.7 “Cold Grey Light of Dawn” So, the second half of Season 4 has officially begun and the show has shown signs of making some significant changes to its overall storyline. This week’s episode titled ‘Cold Grey Light of Dawn’ was a little more exciting than usual, even though there was a lot more dialogue (and less action) than usual.

The long awaited villain, Antonia has finally made her official appearance on the show and she has even given us a glimpse of what she can do… and what she is planning to do! Antonia completely takes over Marnie who then forces the vampire on guard to set her free. When Bill later finds out that Marnie / Antonia had escaped he finishes off the guard (yes, that’s what they need for a war… few vampires!) but manages to fins out Antonia’s real plan – a full and complete resurrection! I guess it’s only too obvious what she’d want then – to finish what she started in the 1600s of course.

Bill then tells all his sheriffs and vampires to be silvered just in case Antonia casts a spell that would force loose vampires into sunlight. I’m not a big fan of excessive dialogues but somehow this time it helped flesh out the situation and humanize the characters a bit. Bill and Jessica shared a great moment, and we haven’t had too many of these where Bill actually tries to relate some wisdom to her as her maker.

Many other storylines were also adeptly connected to the main plot. Tara waves a teary goodbye to her lover as she sends her back to New Orleans and is later offered a tempting compensation to her vampire woes by Antonia. Tara takes Antonia up on her offer and gangs up with her – well, it’s only natural considering that she was recently attacked by Pam.

Lafayette comes to realize (after channeling the healing spirit of Jesus’ uncle in Mexico) that he is a medium. He also then starts seeing the same black lady that Arlene’s baby saw last week.

Poor decaying Pam has finally managed to get her face back. She has her skin torn off (Ouch!) and has to inject some sort of a medicine in her face multiple times a day in order to heal (Ouch Ouch!!)True Blood: Season 4, Ep.7 “Cold Grey Light of Dawn”

As for Sam and Tommy’s storyline – this is by far the most disconnected story in True Blood. Sam finds out about Tommy’s betrayal with Luna and kicks him out. I sure hope they don’t go back to becoming complete enemies!

Now for the biggest cliffhanger on True Blood this week: I always thought that the show would probably have to cut down on some storylines and of course eventually some characters but what I didn’t think was that they would actually do that to one of my favorite characters! Just as Bill expected Antonia gets herself a nice little coven and casts the spell that would force vampires into sunlight.

All the main vampires are weak but securely fastened and all of a sudden Jessica breaks loose! She opens the door and steps out as Jason tries in vain to stop her… and ‘Cold Grey Light of Dawn’ ended right there. So needless to say I’m quite eager to find out what happens to her. You see, Jessica is not a character found in the books. She is purely an Alan Ball creation and there’s only one way we can find out… wait! Like I mentioned before she is one of my favorites and I sure hope they don’t finish her off.

True Blood: Season 4, Ep. 6 “I Wish I Was the Moon” This week’s installment on True Blood was all about love, sex and, you know, relationships. ‘I Wish I was the Moon’ was more or less like a detour from the usual pace and action on the show. But I did enjoy the many scenes that sort of explored the depth of each relationship!

I especially liked the way the Eric – Sookie – Bill triangle was turned. It was pretty obvious, with the arrival of the new Eric on the show that Sookie was eventually going to fall in love with Eric. But what I dint expect was Eric to be teaching Bill a lesson! You see the love scene between Eric and Sookie interrupted only to have it continued at the end. I’ve always imagined the two hooking up, since season 1, but I just never imagined them to hook up they way they did. It was a mere physical attraction, an animalistic urge the two of them were responding to; it was much deeper than that…

As much as I enjoy seeing Eric and Sookie together, I can’t help wondering what exactly Sookie sees in Eric. Really all he has is the mere outline of a personality… isn’t he just an empty mind? As for poor old Bill, he learns the hard way that true love is not about holding on but about letting go.

I also noticed that the writers of True Blood seem to have decreased its pace down a bit this season… and I’m not entirely sure if it’s a good thing. While I do enjoy the detail and development of the plot this season, I do miss the curve balls the show threw at us in earlier episodes.

The most riveting part of True Blood so far is the Marnie storyline. I especially like a villain that is well developed. And given her back story, I can say she is the best villain on the show so far! What’s really interesting is that the vampires are in the wrong here in this plot line. Earlier on we found out that Antonia, the spirit possessing Marnie, is that of a witch of the 1600s who was wronged by vampires. She is merely seeking revenge for what the vamps did to her and her people in Spain back in the day. This makes it hard for the audience to take sides… all we can do is wait and watch how the story unfolds!

Some of the other story lines are a little annoying at this point. It makes me realize just how much has happened on the show all by happenstance! Sookie just happened to by driving by Eric right after he was cursed; Jessica and Hoyt happened to be driving by just as Jason collapsed. And now Jessica and Hoyt seemed to have suddenly fallen out of love just so they can facilitate the Jessica and Jason story line. If I remember correctly, Jessica and Hoyt seemed to be crazy about each other just a few episodes ago unless they’re trying to hint that love can be absolutely superficial, I don’t see how logical this change of heart is.

However, I did like the sweet moments between Sookie and Jason. Jason is still trying to come to terms with what had happened to him in Hot Shot and is well aware that he will be turning into a werepanther during the full moon. Quite understandably, he is uncomfortable with this change and Sookie stays by his side for support. True Blood: Season 4, Ep. 6 “I Wish I Was the Moon”

As for Sam and Tommy, it was nice watching the brothers on the same team on true blood, but I suppose that’s not going to last… not after Sam finds out what Tommy did (or should I say who?!) Tommy suddenly finds out that he is a skinwalker, and he transforms into Sam but what can a guy do, when someone like Luna takes her shirt off huh!

Something creepy seems to be going on with true blood’s most stable couple! Jesus and Lafayette are in Mexico where the former manages to summon a spirit just in time too, to save Jesus form a lethal snake bite.

In other story lines, the Alcide and Debbie pairing seems to one of convenience. We all saw the way Alcide looked at Sookie as she ran into the woods with a shotgun! The only interesting part here will be if Sam and Luna’s story intersects with Alcide’s. Luna earlier on tells Sam that her daughter’s father is a wolf. Tara’s girlfriend actually shows up in town this week.

True Blood has never had a shortage of interesting story lines. We were introduced to an overwhelming number of new characters in the previous season… let’s just hope the number of parallel story lines decreases with season 4. Although I thoroughly enjoyed season 3, I thought there were simply too many stories to follow and the main plot was somehow sidelined.
