This site provides unbiased reviews of the latest contemporary novels that include creatures or otherworldly beings that only come out a night. Or tend to hide in the shadows.

You’ll notice that most books reviewed have strong main characters – ones that don’t have to rely on other people (or creatures) to solve their problems for them. Sure, we all need help occasionally, but at some point a hero or heroine should be heroic, don’t you think?

Come here before spending your dollars on a particular new book – my ever-growing library of contemporary and urban paranormal fantasy books is fairly extensive; I plan to publish reviews on a regular basis.
